Hello Texas Chapter!

The State Convention in Waco was a success! Thank you to all that taught, attended or just supported our awesome convention for you our members. I am still working out the final numbers for the costs of the convention, but we are looking at an approximate cost of $44,000-$46,000 for this event. I will publish the final numbers in the next newsletter.

I am very proud to say that we, as the Best Chapter that AMTA has, have donated $1,445 from our Silent Auction!! Thank you so much to Carly Thibodeaux for all you unending devotion and support in making our donation to Massage Therapy Foundation a great success. This will go far for continued research in our profession. Thanks again Carly!!

Units:  thank you for sending me your budgets. Keep up with the RFP’s and contracts for CE events. I will be contacting everyone within the next few weeks to catch up and help if needed. Please be patient with me, ending this school year is extremely time consuming.

National Convention is coming around the corner! It will be in Pasadena, California this year in September. If you are interested in going please check out AMTA National for all the details. I’ll see you there with my Texas flag on!

Get ready now and save for the 2018 State Convention in League City! It will be in a beautiful, inclusive resort with awesome class line up and fantastic rates for lodging. Keep an eye out for more info on our website for more details as they come available.

If you have any questions or comments for me just send them my way. Keep saving!
